The Club has an 100 strong junior section which is well supported and encouraged by the members. Most, but not all, juniors are the children of members and are aged between 8 and 18. Strong encouragement is given to the girls who are now 21 in number.

The Club has an active programme in the school holidays with a key feature being the group coaching which is given by the Professional and is well attended. The Club also arranges events for all ages, which include matches with the junior sections of other Clubs. Adult/Junior competitions within the Club are also arranged for those with handicaps and those without have their own events

The section is run by a member (Chris Pettman) who is appointed by the Club and is assisted by 6 other Club members. All are cleared to work with children by the Criminal Records Office and the Club runs a Child Protection Policy as recommended by the English Golf Union.
