Old Course Ground Under Repair - Temporary Local Rules

Old Course 4th Hole
 
The area 70 yards short of the 4th green, defined by a white line, is Ground Under Repair from which play is prohibited.  If a player’s ball lies in this area, or if it interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 25-1.
 
 
Old Course 5th Hole
 
The new area of heather to the right of the green, defined by a white line is Ground Under Repair from which play is prohibited.  If a player’s ball lies in this area, or if it interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing, the player must take relief by dropping in the designated area marked DZ.
 
 
Old Course 12th Hole
 
All areas of ground defined by white lines where gorse and scrub have been cleared in order to facilitate the regeneration of heather are Ground Under Repair from which play is prohibited.  If a player’s ball lies in one of these areas or if it interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing the player must take relief under Rule 25-1.

Match play – loss of hole
Stroke play – two strokes
